Yeah so this has been kinda driving me insane lol Please help! :D I should point out too that I can get audio from my monitor using a headphone jack with my earbuds. I've tried all 6 audio and usb ports on the back panel (speakers have a 3.5mm jack and usb cable), not that any of that matters most likely because it appears to be either a settings issue that I can't seem to figure out or there's something wrong with my

I did a clean install and all the windows 7 drivers were installed and are compatible except for the Realtek AC'97 audio driver. I have a Compaq Presario R3000AP 3.2 GHz 2.5GB Ram and have upgraded to windows 7 with SP1. Uninstalled AMD HD Audio(I have a PowerColor Red Devil Rx 590) then tried to install Realtek, I thought maybe it was because they just didn't like each other lol I am unable to find a suitable driver for my computer. When I right click on the audio symbol in the bottom left corner it says Speaker setup(UNKNOWN). Tried DriverEasy Pro and I updated HD Audio with it but I still don't see Realtek audio in device manager, nor am I able to get the speakers to show up in output devices or as playback option in the sound control panel. sorry if it's annoying but I need answers.Hello, I can't get Realtek audio to install, even after trying numerous things.

Speakers and Headphones work fine in other OS, but aren't recognized (it appears like both aren't plugged in). Downloaded both from ASUS and Realtek page. I tried to do rollback with older drivers, but that doesn't work too. It was working fine with that driver but suddenly stopped to work. So itsn't a problem of actualization of drivers. I downloaded the driver from the OFFICIAL PAGE of Realtek, and also from ASUS, both are the same version. I have the LAST version of Realtek HD Audio Driver (don't ask the version, it's the last one). My motherboard is an ASUS P5QPL-AM, fully functional. I have issue with my audio driver, I can't hear sounds from my computer from both speakers (integrated on my monitor) or headphones (Speakers and headphones works good in Windows XP).
